We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Security & Privacy Architect to work in our Shared Data & Technology Team. In the role you will focus on anchoring security and privacy architecture approach in everyday work and aligning security and privacy architecture approach with enterprise architecture approach.

About the role

We are looking for someone to lead and frame Security and Privacy Architecture across IKEA. You will contribute to evolve Inter IKEA enterprise architecture framework to anchor security and privacy architecture patterns.

You will also, together with your peers have the dual assignment to continuously improve security and privacy architecture strategy and roadmaps for IKEA. You will support the process of identifying new technologies that will allow and enable us to meet more of the many people. We believe digital technology is core to develop and future-proof IKEA. 

You also participate in developing our portfolio of capabilities and services to be offered across IKEA value chain to address security and privacy challenges.

More specifically, in this role you will be accountable for: 

  • Lead and work closely together with peers across the totality of Inter IKEA and across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer.
  • With the help of the relevant area of expertise develop and keep up to date the enterprise security blueprint, associated artefacts and design principles
  • Develop the roadmap of the evolution of enterprise security architecture blueprint from current to desired state
  • Ensure correspondence of enterprise-level security & privacy model and capabilities with IIT and business requirements and priorities
  • Communicate and enforce security and data privacy architectural policies, rules, and standards
  • Provide security architecture direction, support and guidance to relevant stakeholders, as required (e.g. support demand management process in the planning phase and feasibility studies)
  • Execute impact assessment on target vs existing architecture or project architectures
  • At any time, act as an ambassador of IKEA values and role model for fact-based business leadership
  • Contributes to professional and long term relationship with franchisees and other IKEA companies through IKEA way of doing business, based on co-operation, trust and transparency.

In this role you will report to our Group Information Security Manager in Shared Data & Technology  and work closely with Enterprise Architecture and IT Architect leaders across Inter IKEA Group to lead towards uniformity and commonality, contributing to the Inter IKEA architecture framework and delivering on the needs of IKEA.

To be successful in this role, we believe you are a strong architect with experience with security and privacy architecture,  able to inspire and mobilize people towards clearly set objectives. 

We expect you to have a very good knowledge about information and cloud technologies with a specific focus on security and/or privacy architecture concepts, methodologies, ways-of-working and frameworks. You have hands-on experience a comprehensive strategy for security and privacy architecture capabilities in a the context of global operations, in an hybrid environments with IT environments managed by very different service providers. Ideally you also have a proven experience with cloud architecture. You are comfortable with agile project methodologies and modern IT operations approaches, specifically you are familiar with DevSecOps approach.

We are looking for a visionary, pragmatic and adaptable architect with strong willpower. You like to deal with ambiguity and want to contribute to build new capabilities. You are curious and able to build relationships in order to establish strong trust between the security community and its stakeholders. It is also necessary that you carry natural credibility and you have a proven track record of reaching stretch targets. You are an energetic and collaborative leader who has a very good knowledge of IT and digital organisations, strategies and working methods. This position is full time and is located in Malmö, Sweden or Delft, Netherlands. Travels, mainly to Sweden/Netherlands, will be required.
